The deadline for submitting this years letter points (all grades) and the 2018 Chorus Boosters Scholarship Application for seniors is March 23, 2018. The scholarship application is on the forms page of the website or click the button below:
The Robert Shaw Choral Scholar – $1,000 – to a Walton High School senior who meets the following criteria:
1. has been in chorus all four years
2. lettered at least one year
3. has been accepted as a Choral Education or Music Education major at a four-year college/university (if there is no choral education or music education major in a given year, the scholarship may be awarded to any intended music major. If there are no intended music majors, the scholarship may go to a student accepted at a four-year college/university.)
4. has demonstrated outstanding choral skills, exemplary character, moral integrity, service to Walton High School Chorus and to whom WHS Chorus was an important part of their high school career.
Walton High School Chorus Booster Club Scholarships (2)– Each to a Walton High School senior who meet the following criteria:
1. has been in chorus all four years
2. lettered at least one year
3. has been accepted at a four-year college/university
4. has demonstrated outstanding choral skills, exemplary character, moral integrity, service to Walton High School Chorus and to whom WHS Chorus was an important part of their high school career.
Students will be selected based on an application and essay.Â
Deadline for entry: Friday, March 23, 2018Â
Scholarships will be presented at the Choral Awards Banquet on April 27, 2018
