Concert Prep

Walton Chorus Families,

Our Holiday Concert is coming up this Monday, December 13th, at the Lassiter Concert Hall at 7pm. As with our prior concert, the performance will be in person as well as live streamed for your convenience and safety. We will send the livestream link prior to the concert performance Monday.

Your student’s arrival & rehearsal time is listed below, and we ask that you take time to look at their arrival time and plan with them accordingly.

Chaperones Needed – there is a need for chaperones for the following choirs: 1-2 chaperones, if your daughter is in Camerata/Varsity Women (11-12th), 1 in Bel Canto (10th grade), 1 in 9th Treble choir. We’d also like 3 volunteers to help with seating. Please contact Tiffany Whittington at 678-908-5820 (text) or email ctwhitt@comcast.net to volunteer.

The concert is general seating and admission is free. Patron Boosters only, reserved section tickets will be sent home with your student. Families, this is a great time to become a patron donor, or upgrade your donation to the patron level, for reserved seating.

HOLIDAY CONCERT ARRIVAL & REHEARSAL TIMES

December 13, 2021

Lassiter Concert Hall

4:00 PM         A Cappella (5:00 PM rehearsal)

4:00 PM         SWE (5:15 PM rehearsal)

5:20 PM         Bel Canto (5:30 PM rehearsal)

5:30 PM         Varsity Women (5:40 PM rehearsal)

5:40 PM         Men’s Ensemble (5:50 PM rehearsal)

5:50 PM         9th Grade Tenor/Bass Ensemble (6:00 PM rehearsal)

6:00 PM         9th Grade Treble Choir (6:10 PM rehearsal)

6:10 PM         Camerata Singers (6:20 PM rehearsal)

6:45 PM         Doors Open

**Upon arrival, students should wait in the Lobby until it is their choir’s turn to rehearse. After each choir finishes rehearsing, they are to return to their assigned seats in the concert hall to wait until it’s time to rehearse the Big Finish (A Cappella and SWE should remain backstage or in the lobby, since they do not have assigned seats). During this time, students are NOT to wander around Lassiter. There’s also no food or drink allowed anywhere in the concert hall.

Chaperones should arrive at their choir’s assigned rehearsal time and remain with them through the concert. So, for example, if you are chaperoning 9th Grade Tenor/Bass Ensemble, you would arrive at Lassiter Concert Hall by 6:00 PM to sit in the hall and watch their rehearsal, then you would sit with them in their assigned seat section until 6:30 PM when it’s time for them to rehearse the Big Finish. Finally, you would “travel” with them as they move through the concert.

Thank you!
